Getting Animated

I was at Get Animated London on Monday. A more business orientated afternoon conference. I wasn't sure it would be relevant to a writer, but it proved highly interesting. It's useful to hear different perspectives on the industry, and was capped by an open discussion about where things stand (not in a great place), and what might be done about it - Government support, more risk taking, co-production within the UK rather than looking internationally... I came away feeling positive and even uplifted.

And in the evening I was at the Children's Media Foundation Quiz. A great fun night with friends and colleagues (plus lovely buffet). Fiendish question set by Tom Jordan and quized by Tiernan Douieb.
