London Book Fair 2026

Earlier this month I went to the London Book Fair for the first time. As I've been writing more fiction in the last year, I thought it would be a good fact finding mission to explore the world of publishing.

I wasn't quite prepared for its overwhelming size oas it filled the whole of Olympia. But there were some useful and fascinating sessions about the business, and how authors are breaking through, either with or despite the mass of social media marketing.

The children's book I wrote last year is currently with publishers for consideration, and today I finished my first pass on my next book. So hopes, dreams, upwards and onwards!
